This series helps you shape your business idea by completing business tools like a simple business canvas, customer profile, product pricing, and a simple business budget. Start investing in your business idea by taking this series. Participants are expected to attend both in-person workshops and virtual labs each week for the duration of the cohort. NOTE: Completion of this series is an essential entry point to additional FBP’s support of coaching and sales opportunities.

  • Have you already taken some biz workshops and hustling but not sure where to go next?
  • Are 18+ & live in Alameda County?

Time commitment

This is a hybrid, 6-week program with 1 virtual session (1-hour) and 1 in-person (2.5 hours) session per week.  Attendance at both virtual and in-person sessions is mandatory for graduation.

Where

Online (via Zoom) and In-person at the Mandela Partners home office, Fruitvale district, Oakland.

When

Mandela Partners’ Food Business Pathways 6-week workshop series has 2 enrollment rounds each year.  Registration for the Spring Cohort are currently OPEN.

Spring Cohort Orientation: March 12 Spring 2024 Cohort Duration: March 19- April 23

In-person Workshops: Tuesdays, March 19 - April 23 Virtual Labs: Thursdays, March 14 - April 18 Community Taste Test: Friday, April 26 Participants are expected to attend both in-person workshops and virtual labs each week for the duration of the cohort.
